Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   I've never done this before – what do I do?

~ Bring some shoes and casual clothes, a water bottle, sunglasses/sunprotection if it's sunny, or a rainjacket if a Melbourne weather tantrum is on the horizon.  Maybe some chocolate or snacks, or a musical instrument- we can pass them up to you!

~ High-top shoes are a better option as you will most likely be wearing a foot ascender.  Runners are ok.

Shoes must cover entire foot.

~ Most fitness levels are fine, we have a few systems to help give you the best experience.  Great for stretching out backs too, yoga style.  Treeyoga!

Q:   I have a fear of heights - will I be able to do this?

~ Many people experience a fear of heights.  The fear is pretty convincing – you get up to a certain height or location somewhere, you experience sweating, heart palpitations, panic, etc from being at a height you are not used to.

~ Tree climbing can be slow and gentle, you can decide how far you want to climb.

~ You are secured in specialised equipment with more than 2000kg+ capacity.

~ People that experience a fear of heights have tried this and loved it!
